Biography

Laure von der Weid is a PhD candidate investigating the neurocognitive mechanisms of Functional Neurological Disorders, with a specific focus on how gender shapes the clinical presentation, neuroimaging biomarkers, and cognitive profiles of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. Her work integrates cognitive neuroscience methodologies with neuroimaging techniques to uncover sex- and gender-related differences in brain function and symptom expression in FND.
