    Description

This course will offer an overview over the history of economic thought by way of a careful study of the field’s classic introductory text (and the second-highest-selling work of all times in economics), Robert Heilbroner’s The Worldly Philosophers. The objective of the course is to provide students of economics with a better sense of where their discipline came from and so a deeper understanding of what economics is and what it might be.
