Description	This course comprises three different types of events: i) seminars with external speakers presenting recent work in the fields of plant and microbial sciences, ii) progress reports from master students, PhD students and postdocs, and iii) a journal club series where recent advances published in international journals are presented and discussed. In the course of the master thesis duration, students are expected to regularly attend and actively participate in the seminars and progress reports, to present their master project at least once and to discuss at least one paper in the journal club.
Training objectives	Students are expected to develop and further improve their scientific presentation and communication skills.
