    Description The course aims to introduce the students to the Applied Micropalentology. During the course the students can learn to identify the marker species from the Cretaceous to the Recent, their biostratigraphy, the main zonal schemes, and how to apply this knowledge in the oil industry.
    Training objectives The students learn the Biology of modern planktonic species, Taxonomy of Cretaceous to Cenozoic species, Biostratigraphy and evolution.
    They also learn to prepare the samples.
