    Description Vorstellung der physiologischen, biochemischen und molekularen Grundlagen von Pflanzenkrankheiten.
    Présentation des bases physiologiques, biochimiques et moléculaires des maladies chez les végétaux.
    Training objectives Dieser Kurs ist geeignet für fortgeschrittenen Studierende der Naturwissenschaften. Als erstes gibt er eine Einführung in die klassische Phytopathologie und konzentriert sich danach hauptsächlich auf die physiologischen, biochemischen, molekularen und genetischen Grundlagen von Pflanzen-Pathogen Interaktionen. Wir interessieren uns besonders für:
    1) Die Strategien die es Pathogenen ermöglichen Pflanzen erfolgreich zu befallen.
    2) Die pflanzlichen Abwehrreaktionen und die Aktivierungsmechanismen des pflanzlichen Immunsystems.
    3) Strategien beider Seiten die Verteidigungs- und Angriffswaffen des Gegners zu neutralisieren.
