    Description

    The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the Hebrew of the Psalter so that they will be able to read the Psalms out loud in the manner of native Hebrew speakers. Audio files will help. The focus is on the morphematic and syntactic analysis of the Hebrew text.
    This course can be attended both as exegesis OT and as ancient language class.
    If you want to be tested in exegesis, you will learn Hebrew vocabulary and grammar of the discussed psalms and have to read about 100 pages of the following book:
