    Description

    Ausgehend vom Eigennamen JHWH für die Gottheit Israels im Alten Testament sowie den unterschiedlichen Bezeichnungen und Metaphern für Gott erhebt diese Lehrveranstaltung die lebensspendenden Dimensionen im alttestamentlichen Gottesbild. Nach Klärung des Bilderverbotes wird den vielfältigen Gottesbildern im AT Raum gegeben. Dabei wird von einer Gottheit, die Leben schafft (Gen 1–2; Ps 139,13–16) und die als Geberin allen Lebens (Ps 104) und als Hebamme (Ps 22, 10–11) wirkt ebenso die Rede sein wie von Gott, der Leben rettet (Gen 16; 21) und aus unmenschlichen Lebensbedingungen in ein menschenwürdiges Dasein führt (Ex, Rut). Der menschlichen Sehnsucht nach dem Gott des Lebens (Ps 42) wird dabei ebenfalls nachgegangen wie der Rede vom Erbarmen Gottes (Ps 86) und seiner Zuwendung zu den Menschen (Ps 30).
