Biography
Geneviève Petitpierre holds a PhD in Special Education and a Master's degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology. Her work focuses on people with intellectual disabilities or multiple disabilities. Methodologically, it is based on protocols of varied tradition (hypothetico-deductive method, single-case experimental protocols, collaborative methodology). Thematically, it targets the characterization of people's competency profiles, the construction of measurement and evaluation tools, as well as the development of learning devices capable of preparing people to live in the community. Great importance is given to the dissemination of research results in the field.

En co-direction avec le Pr. Thierry Dias (HEP VD). This thesis was awarded the prize for excellence by the Stiftung "Heilpädagogisches Zentrum". Noémie Lacombe also won first place in the University of Fribourg's 'Ma thèse en 180 secondes' competition.
