Biography

Christelle Hayoz is a senior researcher in educational and social sciences, with a strong focus on teacher education, educational policy and qualitative research methods. Her academic work is grounded in an interdisciplinary approach that bridges pedagogical and sociological theory with empirical investigation, particularly within the contexts of multilingualism, equity in education and school development.

She holds a doctoral degree in sport science and has taught and conducted research at several Swiss universities. Her recent work includes projects on inclusive schooling practices, the professional identity of teachers and the role of movement and physical activity in primary education. She is particularly interested in how educational systems respond to societal challenges and diversity, and in fostering reflective practice among future educators.

Christelle Hayoz regularly contributes to academic journals and conferences and is actively involved in teacher training, curriculum development, and international collaborations in the field of comparative education.
