Biography
Graduated in Greek, Latin and Ancient History from Fribourg University in 1987, Olivier Curty completed his doctoral thesis about epigraphy in legendary similarities between cities.
Having taken Philippe Gauthier’s classes, he published in 2015 at the De Boccard French editions a book about Hellenistic's gymnasia (IVth-Ist century BC). He is currently Adjunct prof. in Ancient History at Fribourg University.
After a major brain surgery, he is moving by wheeling himself and suffers from dysarthria (language trouble).
