Biography

I am working as a PhD student in the framework of a SNSF-Project titled Political Opposition in post-communist Democracies and Authoritarianisms. More information about the project here.

My research interests include civil society activism, feminist movements, disability rights movements, and democratization in Central and Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus.

I completed a joint MA-degree at the University of Glasgow, University of Tartu, and Ilia State University in Tbilisi in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies. My MA thesis focusses on the intersection of gender and disability rights activism in Georgia by portraying and analyzing gendered experience of women disability activists.
