Biography

After studying philosophy and theology in Paris and Leuven, I taught theology in Paris (2001-2014), Ottawa (2015-2019), and Rome (2019-2020), before moving to Fribourg. My doctoral thesis (Paris/Leuven, 2004) and my habilitation thesis (Fribourg, 2007) were part of the renewal of French-speaking Trinitarian theology. My main books and articles focus on Trinitarian theology, Christology and Christian anthropology.

Main lines of research and current doctoral directions: names of God and divine attributes barely explored in systematic theology; the correlation between exegesis and doctrine in Thomas Aquinas' works; current issues in Christian anthropology.
