Biography

Bertrand Gremaud is a lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, where he specializes in science education, particularly in history, geography, and natural sciences. He focuses on innovative teaching approaches, such as interdisciplinary inquiry, interdisciplinary problem solving, and professional development for teachers. My research focuses on science education, sustainability education, and teaching professionalism in elementary schools. I am the author of numerous scientific publications and regularly contribute to conferences and research projects in education. In addition, I am involved in local educational initiatives and educational networks in Fribourg. My academic work reflects a commitment to teacher training that integrates complexity, interdisciplinarity, and reflective practices.
