Biography

Sarah Chardonnens is a lecturer at the University of Teacher Education in Fribourg, at the Institute for Curative Education and at the Center for Education and Research in Teacher Training at the University of Fribourg. Doctor of Education Sciences, her research focuses on the self-regulation processes of students and motivational dynamics, analyzing the impact of the teaching stance on these processes. She has published several books and scientific articles and acts as a scientific consultant for educational projects. With a background as a professional musician, former professor at the Conservatory and international soloist, she also assesses the work of students at music colleges in French-speaking Switzerland in the fields of pedagogy and musical interpretation. www.sarahchardonnens.ch
