Biography
I am a Swiss National Science Foundation PhD student at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. I work on Turtle Island literatures and recently spent research stays at the American Indian Studies department at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and at the First Nations Studies department at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. My dissertation project looks at the notion of borders and carries the provisional title "The Border-Crossing Fiction of Louise Erdrich, James Welch, Tomson Highway, and Thomas King."
