Fees and Financial Conditions

Students participating in the Asia Exchange Programme are responsible for covering the fees and expenses associated with their exchange semester.
 
Tuition and Programme Fees

Tuition and programme fees are charged on a per semester basis and vary depending on the host university selected.

These fees generally include:

  • Course enrolment
  • Administrative support
  • Academic advising and support
  • Student support provided by the host institution

 

Application Fee

Asia Exchange charges a non-refundable application fee of EUR 75, payable at the time of application. This fee applies regardless of the host institution selected.

 

Payment Terms

All tuition, programme, and application fees must be paid no later than three months before the start of the semester abroad.

Additional Costs

In addition to the fees charged by the partner universities, students should budget for the following expenses:

  • Tuition fees at the University of Fribourg
  • Visa fees
  • Health and travel Insurance
  • Travel costs (including round-trip transportation to the host country)
  • Accommodation
  • Daily Living expenses (food, local transportation, personal expenses, etc.)

 

We strongly encourage students to carefully plan their budget before applying to ensure they can cover all the costs associated with their stay abroad.

Edith Cowan University, Perth (Australia)

  • Semester fee: AUD 6,075 (approximately CHF 3,397)
  • Application fee: EUR 75

 

Warmadewa University, Bali (Indonesia)

  • Semester fee: EUR 2,390
  • Application fee: EUR 75

 

Kasetsart University, Bangkok (Thailand)

  • Semester fee: EUR 2,550
  • Application fee: EUR 75
