    Description

    Seit dem Zweiten Vatikanum wurden zahlreiche Ausgaben des Messbuchs in lateinischer Sprache sowie in den Volkssprachen veröffentlicht. Seit Anfang des 21. Jahrhunderts wurden von römischer Seite Neuausgaben nach veränderten Kriterien verlangt, was zu verschiedenen Revisionsprojekten führte, bei denen nur die englische Ausgabe die neuen Vorgaben umfassend beachtete. Die italienische und die französische Neuausgabe stellen hinsichtlich ihrer Bearbeitungskriterien hybride Formen dar. Im deutschen Sprachgebiet wurde die weithin abgeschlossene Revision des Messbuchs 2013 von den beteiligten Bischofskonferenzen Deutschlands, Österreichs und der Schweiz abgebrochen. Bei diesem Studientag soll die Problematik der Spannung zwischen lateinischen Vorgaben und volkssprachlichen Umsetzungen aufgearbeitet werden. Anhand der vorliegenden Messbuchausgaben werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede in den diversen Ausgaben aufgewiesen, um daraufhin die Frage nach einem „Messbuch der Zukunft“ zu stellen.
