    Im Grundkurs zum Proseminar «Zwischen Faschismus und Demokratie. Der Spanische Bürgerkrieg in der Schweizer Öffentlichkeit 1936-2009» erarbeiten wir Grundlagen historischen Arbeitens, indem wir uns mit Kernkompetenzen wie Literaturrecherche und -verarbeitung, wichtigen historiographischen Konzepten und der schweizerischen wie auch die europäischen Archivlandschaft auseinandersetzen. Wir vertiefen unser historisches Wissen, indem wir verschiedene Quellengattungen kennenlernen und dabei Chancen und Grenzen ihrer Nutzung für die historische Forschung untersuchen. Die Quellen, welche für unser Thema «Zwischen Faschismus und Demokratie. Der Spanische Bürgerkrieg in der Schweizer Öffentlichkeit 1936-2009» von Bedeutung sind, decken ein breites Spektrum ab und reichen von handschriftlichen bis zu digitalen Quellen, von Artefakten bis zu Filmaufnahmen. Während des Semesters werden wir ausserdem gemeinsam die Vorbereitungen für die Proseminararbeit erarbeiten.

    Am Grundkurs kann nur teilnehmen, wer gleichzeitig auch das Proseminar «Zwischen Faschismus und Demokratie. Der Spanische Bürgerkrieg in der Schweizer Öffentlichkeit 1936-2009» besucht.
