    Description

    After this block course, students should have developed a sound knowledge of sleep in a neurophysiological, psychological as well as in a clinical sense. The first day of the block seminar covers basics of sleep physiology, scientific principles of sleep experiments, experimental manipulation of sleep and cognitive aspects related to sleep. The 2nd day of the block seminar focuses on pathological sleep using current guidelines and on the therapy of disturbed sleep.

    The presence on both days is mandatory; otherwise, there will be no access to the exam (and no ECTS).

    The grade will be composed of the following sub-grades: 
    Presentation of a paper in a small group of 4 students (30%, group grade)
