    Description

    Presence is mandatory.

    Gender-based violence, including domestic and intimate partner violence, is a major public health and human rights issue.  Preventing and intervening in gender-based violence are important tasks for all professional on social and health care field. This course aims to provide students knowledge of responses to domestic and gender-based violence. Aim is to develop students’ practice skills in risk assessment, perpetrator intervention, couples intervention and working with victim/survivors.
