    Description

    Die Vorlesung legt Grundlagen für das Studium der Kommunikationswissenschaft. Sie vermittelt einen Überblick über das Fach und gleichzeitig auch über die verschiedenen Lehr- und Forschungsbereiche am DCM. Nach einer Einführung in die zentralen Begriffe und Modelle der Kommunikationswissenschaft werden die verschiedenen Teilgebiete des Fachs (Journalismusforschung, politische Kommunikation, PR-Forschung, Medienökonomie, Medienpolitik, Kommunikations- und Mediengeschichte sowie Mediennutzung und -wirkung) vorgestellt. Anschliessend werden aktuelle kommunikationswissenschaftliche Fragestellungen aus den unterschiedlichen Fachperspektiven betrachtet. 
    Training objectives

    Sie kennen die Teilgebiete der Kommunikationswissenschaft sowie die für diese Teilgebiete relevanten Theorien, Ansätze und Problemstellungen.

    Sie sind in der Lage, Fragestellungen innerhalb dieser Teilgebiete anhand von Literatur zu viertiefen, zu reflektieren und zu analysieren.

    Sie können das erworbene Basiswissen auf aktuelle Problemstellungen aus der Kommunikationswissenschaft anwenden.
