Description The objective of this module is to familiarize the students with interpersonal emotional processes.
While emotion is often seen from a personal (intra-) perspective, this module looks instead at the emotional processes involved between two or more people. While the first part of the course will be dedicated to introducing such processes (including social referencing, social appraisal, and emotion contagion), the second, larger, part of the course will be dedicated to situating those process within different social contexts (e.g., in the family and other groups, and between groups).
The course will be given in English, and will be evaluated by an exam at the end of the academic year. Details concerning the exam will be given during the course.
