    Description

    The course SBL.10004 Ethics in stem cell research provides an overview of this wideranging and fast-moving field of biomedical sciences. We will address ethical implications and policy issues that are the most significant for this research domain, including controversy surrounding human embryonic stem cells, human-animal chimeras, and gametes. We will discuss the importance of information disclosure, the risk for overpromising and the therapeutic misconception of stem cells.
