Description Ce stage, d’une durée de 6 semaines, s’effectue au sein d’une équipe de recherche de la
biochimie. Il consiste en un travail de recherche personnel dirigé par un chercheur ou une
chercheuse expérimenté/e. L’étudiant-e choisit un groupe de recherche en contactant le chef de
groupe.Training objectives L’étudiant-e apprend et utilise des techniques modernes de laboratoire, tels que le clonage et
des techniques générales de biologie moléculaire, la biochimie des protéines, la biochimie de
lipides et sucres, la génétique moléculaire.Comments Timetable and room: according to reserch groups
Exceptionally, the course can also be carried out in one of the research groups of the Department of Biology of which the principal investigator is not listed as teacher above, or at another Swiss University. Requests should be addressed to the responsible of the teaching unit (Prof. C. De Virgilio) with a short description of the type of lab work planned and a list of biochemical and molecular methods that will be learned during the lab rotation. The final research report and the evaluation form (signed by the supervisor) should be forwarded to the responsible of the teaching unit to be validated
