Biography

I work as Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at the University of Prishtina (Kosovo). I have studied political science, political sociology and comparative politics at the French University of Sorbonne (1994-1999), University of Paris 10 (1999-2004), Institut des Sciences Sociales du Politique (ISP) in Paris (2004-2008). I published extensively on the Western Balkans. My doctoral thesis on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was published in France in June 2010 by the publishing house, Michel Houdiard Editeur. From 2011, I worked as a scientific collaborator at the ISP until 2018. My main areas of scientific interest are: transitional justice, international criminal justice, political use of past memories. My most recent book is, Forging Kosovo: Between Dependence, Independence and Interdependence {ed.}, Peter Lang, Bern, 2022.
