    Description

    Since the turn of the millennium, exegetes have been working intensively on ecological hermeneutics in Bible reading. At the meetings of the Society of Biblical Literature since 2004, there were consultations on ecological hermeneutics. The course presents the principles of ecological justice for theology in general and biblical studies in particular and the Earth Bible Project. Some texts from the writings of the Twelve Prophets are used to sharpen the exegetical view of ecological justice in Bible reading. First we ask ourselves: What does an ecological hermeneutics pay attention to when reading the Bible? How can it change common exegetical methods?
