    Im Grundkurs zum Proseminar „Bürgerkriege in Europa – schwieriges Erbe des 20. Jahrhunderts“ vertiefen wir unser historisches Wissen, indem wir verschiedene Quellengattungen kennenlernen und untersuchen. Anhand der jeweiligen Wochenthematik im Proseminar sollen bestimmte Quellenarten vorgestellt, mit ihnen gearbeitet und dabei Chancen und Grenzen ihrer Interpretation aufgezeigt werden. Die Quellen, welche für unser Thema « Bürgerkriege» von Bedeutung sind, decken ein breites Spektrum ab und reichen von handschriftlichen bis zu digitalen Quellen, von Zeitungsartikeln, persönlichen Aufzeichnungen bis zu Fotografien und Filmaufnahmen. Ausserdem vermittelt der Grundkurs Grundlagen historischen Arbeitens, indem auf Kernkompetenzen wie Literaturrecherche und -verarbeitung, wichtige historiographische Konzepte und die europäische Archivlandschaft eingegangen wird. Während des Semesters werden wir gemeinsam die Vorbereitungen für die Proseminararbeit erarbeiten.

    Am Grundkurs kann nur teilnehmen, wer gleichzeitig auch das Proseminar „Bürgerkriege in Europa – schwieriges Erbe des 20. Jahrhunderts“ besucht
