Description The course Advanced scientific writing encompasses literature research, reading, writing, reviewing, editing and publishing. It engages students in a real-world exercise of scientific writing and publishing. The students will gain experience in scientific writing through an individual essay (scientific review article or book chapter). This will increase the students’ skills in word processing and reference management systems. The students will participate in critical evaluation of scientific writing by assessing peer-written work, explore relevant web sites and become familiar with electronic publishing.
