Description In the present workshop attendees will learn the theoretical background as well as the practical implementation of applying machine learning techniques to EEG data. We will focus on brain decoding using linear SVMs which have proven to be very successful in the field. We will then move on to cover how one can relate neural representations measured by EEG to DNN model representations as in now common in the cognitive neuroscience of sensory processing. We will mainly use Matlab for this workshop (though may dip into Python at times).
