    Description

    After discussing the fundamental mechanisms of transition metal-promoted (and catalyzed) transformations, this course will survey the major families of such reactions, in a synthetic perspective.

    Training objectives

    At the end of this course, you should be capable of:

    - Understanding the mechanisms of reactions involving metals,

    - Using transition metal catalysis,

    - Designing new catalysts using the typical reactivity of metals, ligands and substrates,

    - Applying organometallic chemistry to synthesis.
