Master in Biomedical Sciences
This BeFri network is a project between the Universities of Fribourg and Bern, which aims to optimise the use of resources in the areas of teaching and research. The degree programme in Biomedical Sciences is a joint and coordinated offer from both partner universities. The Bachelor degree is awarded by the University of Fribourg (Section of Medicine of the Faculty of Science and Medicine), while the Master degree is awarded by the University of Bern (Faculty of Medicine). The programme is based on the main research areas of both faculties, which include cardiovascular diseases, metabolism and neurosciences.
Holders of a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Fribourg are also admitted (with or without a supplementary programme) to several Master degree programmes in Switzerland and Europe.
