Department of Oncology, Microbiology and Immunology (OMI)

The Department of Oncology, Microbiology and Immunology was founded in 2018 with the aim of uniting various research groups working in the field of immunology and infectiology, antibiotic resistance in microbes and preclinical biomedical research. The research areas include experimental and translational cancer research, as well as pharmacological investigation of the biological activity of gas molecules. The research-intensive work of the OMI Department flows into teaching for medical and natural science students.
