New institute, new Master's program, new website, the environmental sciences and humanities at the University of Fribourg are growing.
The UniFR_ESH Institute (University of Fribourg Environmental Sciences and Humanities) was founded in June 2019, led by Prof. Ivo Wallimann-Helmer, who arrived at the University of Fribourg in 2018. The aim of the Institute is to expand research and teaching in the field of environmental sciences and humanities.
From September 2020, a new Master's degree in Environmental Sciences and Humanities will be offered at the University of Fribourg. It is aimed at students from a wide range of backgrounds, such as biology, geography or earth sciences, but also anthropology, economics, law, theology or philosophy.
