Monique de Meuron – FPFS Programme 2026

The Programme Monique de Meuron - FPFS pour la relève universitaire aims to support the recruitment of outstanding early-career researchers at Swiss-speaking universities in French-speaking Switzerland.

Two positions are funded each year: one in Humanities and Social Sciences and one in Natural and Experimental Sciences.

Eligibility criteria

• Open to all disciplines except clinical medicine and public health (biomedical research is eligible).

• Candidates must be early-career researchers pursuing an academic career.

• As a rule, candidates must be under 35 years old (or under 40 for women), with possible exceptions for justified career interruptions.

Nomination Procedure

Candidates must be nominated by their faculty. Self-nominations are not permitted.

Faculties are invited to pre-select candidates by 31 July 2026 and submit nominations to research@unifr.ch. The University will coordinate the final submission to the Foundation.
