- 3 ECTS credits are awarded for 4-week full-time internship (or equivalent)
- 6 ECTS credits are awarded for 8-week full-time internship (ou équivalent)
Internship theme: the internship must be related to communication courses.
Internship or work validation process: To be validated, an internship or work must STRICTLY follow the order and all the conditions of the following steps:
-
Step 1: BEFORE the start of the internship or work placement, send the internship recognition form along with a document explaining your motivations and objectives for the internship or work placement.
This involves:
- completing and submitting the internship recognition form available on this web page,
- and writing and submitting a personnal document explaining your reasons for requesting validation of the internship or work experience. This document should detail the contributions of the internship or work experience to the university program and its place in the student's educational project.
This internship or work experience must therefore be related to the courses taught in the Master's program in communication.
Important : The internship recognition form must be accepted by the internship supervisor BEFORE the start of the internship or work. It CANNOT be accepted after the internship or work has been completed.
Once the recognition proposal has been accepted by the internship supervisor in the department, the latter forwards the documents to the exam delegate of the SES faculty.
-
Step 2: AFTER the internship recognition form has been approved, complete the internship or work at the host institution.
The internship or work must begin after the internship proposal has been approved using the form on this page.
-
Step 3: NO LATER THAN ONE MONTH after the end of the internship, send an internship or work report along with an internship or work certificate.
Deadline: The report and internship or work certificate must be sent no later than one month after the end of the internship or work placement.
Si l’étudiant-e est hors délai il/elle est automatiquement exclu-e d’une validation des crédits du stage.
Report content: The internship or work report is a 2-3 page document in which the student describes 1) their activities, 2) how the internship contributed to their personal experience in communication and media, and 3) how the internship or work relates to the communication courses in the master's program. The internal structure of the internship report is left to your discretion.
