Jubilee "50 Years of DCM"

The celebration of the 50-year anniversary of the DCM took place on 7 April 2016 in the university building Pérolles 2 at the University of Fribourg. The DCM organised a panel discussion with former students, and the long-time director of the institute, Louis Bosshart, spoke about the development of communication studies. In addition, the award of an honorary doctorate from the University of Fribourg to the journalist, media entrepreneur and radio pioneer Roger Schawinski was announced at the ceremony.
