Innosuisse & BRIDGE

Starting in 2026, Innosuisse will require an implementation partner for all funding schemes (until the end of 2025, applications without a partner are still accepted); researchers can also explore opportunities through the BRIDGE program and the Unifr’s innovation grants.

Proof-of-Concept grants

The two Unifr’s proof-of-concept grants were launched to support your innovative ideas and projects: the Centenary Research Fond grant offers up to CHF 7,000, and the Research Pool grant provides up to CHF 70,000.

New Start-up Grant

For the 2nd year, Unifr offers up to CHF 150,000 annually to support start-up projects, helping researchers protect intellectual property early and access favorable licensing terms. Who can apply? Open to students, staff, alumni, and continuing education participants. Interested? Contact us before applying to confirm your eligibility and get support with your application.
