The Section of Medicine and the Department of Biology organized their Research Day on April 14. A one-day internal colloquium - online of course - that showcased the great amount of activity in medicine and biology at Unifr.

In addition to presentations by local professors and researchers, participants benefited from two keynote lectures, one by Professor Onur Boyman from the University of Zurich, on immunotherapy, and the other by Fribourg-born entrepreneur Aymeric Sallin, who runs a technology investment company in Silicon Valley.

The Research Day’s main organiser was Dr. Pierre-Yves Mantel, Lecturer in Immunology and Infectious Diseases.
