Admission Requirements
→ Bachelor degree in Management from a Swiss university: Unconditional Admission.
→Bachelor degree in another discipline or from a foreign university: admission is based on a full review of the application.
Applications must include a letter of motivation in addition to the documents required by the University of Fribourg Admissions Office. For foreign degrees from outside the EU/EFTA, GMAT results are mandatory.
The minimum requirement is 60 ECTS in Management including the 5 courses in Accounting and Finance of the SES Faculty. Where admission is granted, the SES Faculty may require the completion of additional Bachelor-level ECTS credits.
→ Bachelor degree in Business Administration from a Swiss University of Applied Sciences (HES): admission is possible with a standard complement of 30 ECTS.
For special cases (e.g., foreign degrees or Bachelor’s degrees obtained more than eight years ago), admission is not automatic. Admission decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants who are enrolled at the University of Fribourg must submit their application via the MyUnifr portal.

Application
Applications must be submitted in February, after the first-semester results in Fribourg, by email to mobility-delegate-ses@unifr.ch. Applicants must have obtained at least 18 ECTS in the Master in Accounting and Finance. The application file must include transcripts in accounting and finance, as well as a CV demonstrating sufficient proficiency in English and French.
EXPERTsuisse Qualified Master Degree
Students who complete 30 ECTS in accounting-related subjects may obtain the status of “qualified Master” from EXPERTsuisse on the pathway to becoming a certified public accountant. This status reduces the required training period from four to three years.
