120 ECTS Master
It is possible to complete a 120 ECTS Master’s degree by adding to this 90 ECTS programme a 30 ECTS Master Minor from another discipline, provided you meet the admission requirements for that Minor.

Admission Requirements
Prerequisites are a Bachelor degree in Economics, Management, Business Informatics, including the basic courses of the Faculty, or equivalent: Mathematics I & II, Microeconomics I & II, Statistics I-III, and Business Informatics I & II. Proof of sufficient English language skills may be required, depending on the curriculum of the candidate.
- Bachelor degree from a Swiss university meeting the prerequisites: unconditional admission
- Bachelor degree in another discipline or from a foreign university: admission is based on a full review of the application.
For foreign degrees from outside the EU/EFTA, GMAT results are mandatory.
Where admission is granted, the SES Faculty may require the completion of additional Bachelor-level ECTS credits that need proof of French or German skills of a least B2 level.
- Bachelor degree from a Swiss University of Applied Sciences (HES) in Business Administration or Business Informatics: admission is possible with a standard supplement of 30 ECTS in French or German.
For special cases (e.g., foreign degrees or Bachelor degrees obtained more than eight years ago), admission is not automatic. Admission decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants who are enrolled at the University of Fribourg and meet the admission requirements must submit their application via the MyUnifr portal.
Language of study
The programme is taught in English, ensuring global accessibility. Some courses can be taken in French or German, adding linguistic depth and cultural insight. Fribourg’s bilingual environment makes your learning experience truly international.
