Spécialisation en Psychologie du Travail et des Organisations
Description
By choosing this specialisation programme, students can deepen their knowledge in the field of work and organisational psychology. As well as covering a wide range of applied and research areas (e.g. staff development, work analysis), this option offers the opportunity to focus on the fields of Human Factors and Occupational Health Psychology. The skills taught in this option correspond to the requirements of jobs in industry and public administration (e.g. in relation to safety at work).
Structure
The program is composed of two modules:
Human factors (15 ECTS)
This module enables students to acquire theoretical, methodological and practical skills in the field of work psychology and human factors and covers a range of central topics related to this area. This may include, for example, teaching in the following areas: human-machine interaction, automation, usability and user experience, stress at work, group work, work design, and working hours. The skills developed may include carrying out an analysis of work in an organisation or carrying out a usability test to evaluate a technical device.
The module is made up of 3 ECTS elective teaching units. To validate this module, students must validate teaching units for a minimum of 15 ECTS. The teaching units are offered in English.
Occupational health psychology (15 ECTS)
In this module, students acquire the theoretical knowledge and methodological skills needed to solve practical problems in organisations with a focus on employee health and well-being and to carry out research projects. The module covers a range of topics such as work-life balance, organisational justice, workplace health promotion, conflict and well-being at work, staff/organisational development, social interaction and leadership, and staff selection. The skills developed may include the implementation of health promotion measures in the workplace.
The module is made up of 5 elective teaching units worth 3 ECTS. To validate this module, students must validate teaching units for a minimum of 15 ECTS. The teaching units are offered in English.
