Melina Llodra joined Lalive in 2008 after several years of practice in corporate and commercial law in Argentina. She specialises in advising parties to international commercial contracts, in particular in the sectors of energy, telecommunications and life sciences. Prior to joining Lalive, Melina Llodra was a partner in Argentina at Llodra-Trivisonno (2006-2008). She also worked as an external consultant in contracts and consumer law at the Ombudsman office in Argentina (2005-2007) and as an associate at Schujman-Althaus (1999-2003).  She has participated in working sessions of the UNCTAD/WTO International Trade Centre (ITC) Pro-Bono Committee on International Commercial Model Contracts for Small and Medium Enterprises. Melina Llodra holds an LL.M. from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, USA (2004-2005) and a law degree from the National University of Rosario, Argentina (1995-2000). She trained at the Argentinean District Court on civil and commercial matters (1998-1999) and also studied in Spain at the University Carlos III in 2003.
