The University of Fribourg has signed a new exchange agreement with Chukyo University in Nagoya, Japan. This exchange destination is intended primarily for students who are interested in Japanese culture and language. Students at Bachelor’s and Master’s level now have the opportunity to study in Japan for one or two semesters and to gain experience in a new academic and cultural environment.

A limited number of exchange places are still available for the Spring Semester 2027 at non‑European partner universities of the University of Fribourg.

Remaining places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
