The University of Fribourg is participating in the training project IKAS – Intercultural Skills for Administrative Staff in Higher Education Institutions (HEI). Taking part in this training offers a unique opportunity to improve your English language skills and enhance your intercultural communication abilities in a truly international environment.
The training provides the necessary skills to handle tasks and situations in an international context. It takes place online and includes weekly teaching sessions as well as individual work. At the end of the programme, participants will meet for a one-week staff course abroad.
The training consists of three modules:
- English language module (30h online, mostly in group classes)
- Intercultural competence module (20h online, mostly individual work)
- Mobility week in Valladolid (Spain) or Skopje (North Macedonia)
The programme is free and covers travel and housing costs for the one-week staff course abroad. The programme is financially supported by Movetia and ERASMUS+.
