Specific conditions related to a late application for admission to Bachelor or Master studies
Once the registration period ended, you have the possibility to submit a late application for admission until 31 August for the autumn semester and until 31 January for the spring semester if you fulfil the following conditions:
Swiss diplomas
All candidates holding a Swiss diploma may submit a late application for admission (except for specific degree programmes which do not allow late applications).
Foreign diplomas
You may submit a late application for admission if you:
- Do not need a visa to study in Switzerland (countries submitted to a compulsory visa).
- Do not need to take the Complementary Examination of the Swiss Higher Education Institutions (ECUS) (details per country and school-leaving diploma).
The processing of applications for admission takes several weeks and we cannot guarantee to be able to process an application in time for the beginning of the semester if submitted shortly before its beginning.
