    Bioinformatics usually work with large amount of raw sequence data coming from various NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) plateforms. We can provide help to deposit this data in public repositories as required by the data management plans.

    The Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Platforms can provide data analysis expertise on NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) data and biostatistics expertise for any type of biological data.

    As examples, we offer several data analysis services described below:

    • Genome & Transcriptome assembly and annotation
    • RNAseq
    • ChIPseq
    • Variant detection (SNV and Indels)
    • Microbiome & metagenomics
    • DNA methylation and epigenetic modifications.
    • Biostatistics analysis (e.g. ANOVA, linear and generalised liner modelling, mixed effects models, PCA, RDA)

     

    Please note that the data analysis is subject to a fee, usually CHF 50.-/hour.

    Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Open Bar and Breakfast

    We organise regular informal meetings around a coffee/tea and croissants. This is an opportunity to discuss with the experts of the core facilities about NGS planning and data analysis issues. The principle is simple: you bring the questions, we bring the croissants (and the answers hopefully)! It is open to all and free, no registration needed.
