An der Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Freiburg (Schweiz) ist eine Professur in Strategischem Management (50%, Open Rank) im Departement für Betriebswirtschaftslehre zu besetzen. Die Stelle wird im Tenure-Track-Verfahren besetzt (anfängliche Begrenzung auf vier Jahre, anschliessende Entfristung bei Erfüllung der Tenure-Track-Kriterien) und beinhaltet eine finanzierte Stelle als Diplomassistent/in (50%). Der voraussichtliche Starttermin ist der 1. September 2025. 

Der zukünftige Professor oder die zukünftige Professorin unterrichtet Bachelor- und Masterkurse auf Deutsch und Englisch. Die Kurse sollen verschiedene Aspekte des Fachgebiets Strategie und Strategisches Management abdecken (z.B. Geschäfts- und Unternehmensstrategie, strategische Planung, Management strategischer Allianzen). 
Die erfolgreiche Kandidatin oder der erfolgreiche Kandidat hat die Fähigkeit bewiesen, regelmässig in führenden wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften auf dem Gebiet des Strategischen Managements zu publizieren.
Da die Universität Freiburg zweisprachig ist (Französisch/Deutsch), sind neben den notwendigen fliessenden Deutsch- und Englischkenntnissen passive Kenntnisse der französischen Sprache oder die erklärte Absicht, diese zu erwerben, erforderlich. The Chair of Development Economics is seeking applications for a 5-year (100%) PhD position. We are looking for a candidate with a strong research interest in microeconomics applied to developing countries. The focus of the position is on research, with a small workload on assistance for teaching and administration of the Chair. Participation to the department’s scientific activities is expected.

As part of a research collaboration with a major Swiss insurance company, the Center for Competitiveness in the Department of Economics at the University of Fribourg is seeking to recruit one post-doc researcher for a 2 years period (3^rd year to be confirmed at a later stage). This researchers will play a crucial role in a collaborative research project titled “Policies and Corporate Strategies for Strengthening the Sustainable Economic and Social Competitiveness of Switzerland.” The project's team is composed of researchers from diverse fields including economics, management, communication, law, and sociology. This initiative is part of a broader cluster called "The Future of Switzerland," consisting of four interlinked research projects, embracing an interdisciplinary approach. The areas that can be addressed will touch on issues of economic and social policies such as smart regions and cities, energy transition, corporate and policy strategies for addressing climate change, the creation of value by businesses, sociological and societal issues related to sustainable development to name just a few examples. The postdoc's expertise in specific domains may also influence the project's directions

Key responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical and empirical research in the respective fields of the research project(s).
• Organize and facilitate scientific exchanges among researchers from various departments and faculties within the specific research project and across other research projects.
• Co-organize events, including workshops, and other relevant activities.

Cahier des charges :

Collaborer aux projets de recherche de la chaire et rédiger une thèse de doctorat sur un sujet de comptabilité et/ou analyse financières.

 Assister les cours de comptabilité de niveau Bachelor, soit :

• Préparer et donner régulièrement les exercices
• Seconder les étudiants dans la rédaction de leurs travaux de séminaire
• Assister à la préparation ainsi qu’à la correction des examens
• Collaborer à la préparation des cours
• Assister à la préparation du cours du niveau Master
• Soutenir le titulaire de la chaire dans les travaux de recherche

Exigences :

Master (ou diplôme universitaire équivalent) en comptabilité, finances, gestion d’entreprise ou dans une branche similaire ; très bonne connaissances du français, de l’anglais ainsi que de bonne connaissances d’allemand seraient un atout.
