Beschreibung	A project-oriented field course taking place at a research field station. The course is devoted to learning how to conceive and conduct ecological experiments. During the course, a project is developed by the student and discussed with the teachers. The results of the project are presented orally to the other students and in form of a report to the teachers. The course is complemented by excursions.
Lernziele	The students are able to develop their own research projects, carry them out, and present and write up the results. They know experimental field and laboratory techniques in ecology. They can statistically analyse and interpret the results.
Zugangsbedingungen	Limit of students to max. 12 participants (this is for logistic reasons as we have only a limited number of cars for excursions) The students should have previously participated to an ecology course at UNIFR or equivalent at a different university
