  • What will we cover during the support session?

    During the session we will:

    • Clarify and define what you are searching for
    • Review and optimize your Pivot-RP profile (if needed)
    • Set up tailored automated funding alerts
    • Explore different search approaches (free-text search, keyword search, semantic search)
    • Learn how to exclude search criteria or filter out irrelevant opportunities
    • Answer any questions you may have

    After the session you will be able to use Pivot-RP efficiently to find relevant funding opportunities, and take advantage of the automated options of the tool.

  • How long does a support session normally last?

    45 minutes

  • Are those sessions held in-person or online?

    Normally, Pivot-RP support sessions are held in-person. Online sessions are possible upon request.

  • Who are these sessions for?

    These sessions are available to all researchers working at the University of Fribourg whether you are a PhD student, a postdoc or a professor.

    The sessions are suitable if you have started using Pivot-RP and would like to improve the relevance of your search results.

    If you have no prior knowledge of Pivot-RP we recommend that you first try the tool out before contacting us. You can start by following one of our online webinars and reading the dedicated webpages.

  • How can I book a session?

    You can book a 45-minute session by using the link above.

  • Where does the support session take place?

    The session will take place in the Research Promotion Service office:
