Beschreibung	This course provides an overview of the entrepreneurship phenomenon by showing how different disciplines are approaching the phenomenon and are interested in different aspects of it. In particular, we will discuss the important topics that relate to entrepreneurship in disciplines like economics, management, psychology, or sociology. For instance, we will discuss whether there is such thing as an ‘entrepreneurial mindset’, or whether new firms are important for economic growth and job creation, or else how social networks can help entrepreneurs in their endeavor. Of course, it is not possible to be exhaustive so only the main topics will be discussed. However, group work will allow the student to explore specific sub topics. So it is clear that this course is not about ‘how to create a company’ (see course at Bachelor level) but is about understanding the entrepreneurship phenomenon. This course should be of interest for both people willing to start their own company and people willing to work in institutions or arenas that deal with entrepreneurship such as for instance public regional bodies, venture capital companies, or large firm incubators.
Lernziele	(i) Get a general understanding of the topics that relate to the entrepreneurship phenomenon; (ii) get knowledge of what research has to tell us about entrepreneurship.
